El estudio para la determinación de la sensibilidad y especificidad de Troponina TN T y Creatina quinasa MB (CKMB) se realizó en el Laboratorio del Hospital General Docente Ambato, cuyo objetivo fue verificar cuál de las pruebas es más sensible y específica para Infarto agudo de miocardio (IAM) en pacientes Diabéticos. El tipo de investigación fue analítico observacional, con un estudio de casos y controles ya que su objetivo era comprobar la hipótesis y señalar cuál de las pruebas empleadas tiene alta sensibilidad o especificidad para ayudar al diagnóstico de Infarto Agudo de Miocardio en Diabéticos. Para la toma de muestra, se verifico que los participantes cumplan con todos los criterios de inclusión y exclusión, ya que el tipo de muestreo es probabilístico y la elección de los pacientes fue con base científica. Los datos obtenidos por la determinación de las pruebas de Troponina TN T y CKMB arrojo resultados Cuantitativos, la población de estudio fue de 250 pacientes con una edad entre 35 y 80 años del servicio de emergencias del Hospital General Docente Ambato, con su respectiva solicitud médica para la determinación de troponina TN T y CKMB. Se concluyó que la sensibilidad para la prueba de Troponina TN T fue del 48.5 % con una especificidad del 48.2 % para los pacientes Diabéticos diagnosticados con IAM, mientras que la sensibilidad para la prueba CKMB fue del 51.4 % con una especificidad del 51.7 % para los pacientes Diabéticos diagnosticados con IAM.
The study for the determination of the sensibility and Troponina's specificity TN T and Creatine kinase MB (CKMB) was realized in the Laboratory of the General Docente Ambato Hospital, which aim was to check which of the tests is more sensitive and specific for Acute myocardial infarction (IAM) in diabetic patients. The type of research was analytical observational study, with a study of cases and controls since its objective was to test the hypothesis and point out which of the tests used has high sensitivity or specificity to assist in the diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction in diabetic patients. For the capture of sample, I check that the participants expire with all the criteria of incorporation and exclusion, since the type of samples it is probabilístico and the choice of the patients was with scientific base. The information obtained by the determination of Troponina's tests TN T and CKMB I throw Quantitative results, the population of study belonged 250 patients with an age between 35 and 80 years of the emergency service of the General Docente Ambato Hospital, with his respective medical request for the determination of troponina TN T and CKMB. One concluded that the sensibility for Troponina's test TN T was 48.5 % with a specificity of 48.2 % for the diabetic patients diagnosed with IAM, whereas the sensibility for the test CKMB was of 51.4 % with a specificity of 51.7 % for the diabetic patients diagnosed with IAM.
