El Clúster de alta disponibilidad es un conjunto de dos o más máquinas que tiene como característica principal el acceso continuo a los servicios y aplicaciones dentro de una entidad u organización. El siguiente proyecto de investigación presenta un proceso estratégico para llevar a cabo la implementación de un Clúster de alta disponibilidad de 2 nodos virtuales los cuales conforman el servidor de autenticación de la red Wi-Fi de la FISEI, sobre la plataforma libre GNU/Linux. El proyecto hace mención a los componentes más importantes del Clúster y de la misma manera expone los conceptos más relevantes del mismo. Además se muestran las instalaciones y configuraciones de los componentes que conforman el Clúster para poder llevarlo de forma integral a un escenario de pruebas y verificaciones. Finalmente se hace alusión a las conclusiones y recomendaciones desprendidas a lo largo del desarrollo de la propuesta de investigación. ABSTRACT The high availability cluster is a set of two or more machines which have as a main feature continued access to services and applications within a company or organization. The following research project presents a strategic process to carry out the implementation of a high availability cluster of two virtual nodes which form the authentication server on the free GNU/Linux platform of the Wi-Fi network of the FISEI. The draft mentions the most important components of the cluster and in the same manner exposes the most relevant concepts of this. Also it shows the installations and configurations of the components so that it is possible to verify the cluster operation comprehensively in a test scenario. Finally it draws conclusions and suggests recommendations detached throughout the development of the research proposal.
