Resumen: La Unidad Educativa Huachi Grande está ubicada en la Parroquia Huachi Grande, del Cantón Ambato; En esta institución se ha detectado el siguiente problema: La deficiente utilización de los pictogramas y su incidencia en el aprendizaje de poemas, esto se debe a que los docentes no emplean estrategias adecuadas para que el niño pueda desarrollar su imaginación y concentración en lo que se encuentra a su alrededor dejando a un lado la importancia que esto conlleva para los estudiantes. El aprendizaje de poemas es de mucha importancia ya que en ellos los niños y niñas al ver una imagen, su imaginación fluye y pueden expresar muchas cosas que ellos sienten y observan. Para esto ha sido necesario elaborar una guía didáctica que facilite la labor del docente y mejorar el problema detectado.
Abstract: The Huachi Grande Educational Unit is located in the Parish Huachi Grande Canton Ambato; In this institution has detected the following problem: The poor use of pictograms and their impact on learning of poems; this is because teachers do not use appropriate strategies for the child to develop their imagination and focus on what is located around aside the importance this has for students. Learning poems is very important because in them the children to see a picture, your imagination flowing and can express many things they feel and observe. For this it was necessary to develop a teaching guide to facilitate the work of teachers and to improve the detected problem
