El balance social como instrumento de evaluación y difusión de la responsabilidad social en las Cooperativas de Ahorro y Crédito de la ciudad de Ambato

The social responsibility manages 4 components framed in the economic, legal, ethical and discretional that is managed within the institutions. generating positive and negative impacts on society, which has given rise to a more persistent philanthropy since it goes beyond simple compliance with rules, laws and regulations. Therefore, the institutions that are really committed within the SR have tried to return in the same conditions what was delivered to them. The result of social responsibility is measured by the Social Balance where information about expectations and the perception of society is gathered which is presented at the end of the year. For the elaboration of the social balance, tools are used that can be clearly identified in the literature that involves SR. In Ecuador, the SEPS has provided a compilation containing 7 fundamental principles that are guidelines for savings and credit cooperatives. In this way, the objective of this study is to identify in the literature the tools available to prepare a social balance, describe the principles and values that govern savings and credit cooperatives and their relationship with the applicability of social responsibility and develop a proposal of balance.
La responsabilidad social maneja 4 componentes enmarcados en lo económico, legal, ético y discrecional que es manejado dentro de las instituciones, generando impactos positivos y negativos en la sociedad con lo cual ha dado comienzo a una filantropía más persistente ya que va más allá del simple cumplimiento de reglas, leyes y normas. Por lo cual, las instituciones que realmente se ven comprometidas dentro de la RS han tratado de devolver en igual condiciones lo que se les fue entregado. El resultado de la responsabilidad social es medido por el Balance Social donde se reúne información sobre las expectativas y la percepción de la sociedad el que es presentado al finalizar el año. Para la elaboración del balance social se utilizan herramientas que se puede identificar claramente en la literatura que involucra la RS. En el Ecuador la SEPS ha proporcionado una recopilación donde se encuentran 7 principios fundamentales que son guías para las cooperativas de ahorro y crédito. De este modo, el objetivo del presente estudio es identificar en la literatura las herramientas disponibles para elaborar un balance social, describir los principios y valores que norman a las cooperativas de ahorro y crédito y su relación con la aplicabilidad de responsabilidad social y elaborar una propuesta de balance.
