IBARRA -IMBABURA. La investigación se realizó de junio del 2006 a mayo del 2007, en un invernadero ubicado en la zona de Yuyucocha de la parroquia Caranqui, cantón Ibarra, provincia de Imbabura. Se estudió la dinámica poblacional de N. aberrans en las prácticas del cultivo de tomate de mesa para identificar posibles componentes de control y estimar las pérdidas que causa para determinar su importancia como plaga y orientar el desarrollo de un sistema de manejo integrado.
POPULATION DYNAMICS OF “THE ROSARY NEMATODE OF THE ROOT” (Nacobbus aberram) IN THE CULTURAL PRACTICES OF THE TOMATO CROP (lycopersicom esculentum Mill) AND LOSS CAUSES. CARANQUI - IMBABURA. The research was development from June 2006 to May 2007 in a greenhouse located in Yuyucocha, parroquia Caranqui, canton Ibarra, province o f Imbabura. The population dynamics o f N. aberrans were studied in tomato crops in order to identify possible control components, to estimate the losses that N. aberrans causes, to determine its importance as a pest, to direct the development o f an integrated management system.
