El presente trabajo pretende demostrar que el cambio de estrategias, como el juego y el uso de material concreto, en la ense?anza de las matem?ticas en el subnivel elemental, proporcionan beneficios notorios en el proceso de ense?anza aprendizaje. El material concreto nos permite realizar actividades educativas muy atractivas, evitando de esta manera el aburrimiento de las clases, tener un mejor desenvolvimiento acad?mico con los estudiantes, debido a que estos despiertan su inter?s potenciando su creatividad ansiosos de obtener nuevos aprendizajes. Cuando realizamos actividades con material concreto el estudiante tiene sus propias vivencias adquiriendo un aprendizaje significativo, obtiene un trabajo ordenado y colaborativo con lo cual la clase se beneficia totalmente. Al implementar esta unidad did?ctica pude demostrar las dificultades y los logros obtenidos con el grupo de estudiantes con quienes fue desarrollada. Es as? como se pudo analizar la comprensi?n del tema y el razonamiento alcanzado por los estudiantes.
The present work tries to demonstrate that the change of strategies, like the game and the use of concrete material, in the education of the mathematics in the elementary sub-level, provide notorious benefits in the teaching-learning process. The concrete material allows us to carry out very attractive educational activities, thus avoiding the boredom of the classes, having a better academic development with the students, because these awaken their interest, enhancing their creativity eager to obtain new learning. When we carry out activities with concrete material the student has his own experiences acquiring a significant learning, he obtains an ordered and collaborative work with which the class benefits totally. By implementing this didactic unit, I was able to demonstrate the difficulties and achievements obtained with the group of students with whom it was developed. This is how the understanding of the subject and the reasoning reached by the students could be analyzed.
