En el Ecuador el porcentaje de estudiantes que no finalizan la educaci?n b?sica es significativo, lo que ocasiona problemas sociales, culturales y econ?micos. El gobierno nacional en consonancia con organizamos internacionales y programas educativos orientados a personas adultas con escolaridad inconclusa, han creado diferentes programas educativos que iniciaron como proyectos individuales y, a trav?s del tiempo, han evolucionado hasta la implementaci?n de la oferta educativa intensiva o tambi?n conocida como Educaci?n para J?venes y Adultos. El prop?sito del programa educativo es que las/os estudiantes mayores de 15 a?os y con rezago educativo de dos a?os puedan culminar los estudios de B?sica Superior o Bachillerato. De acuerdo con informes del Ministerio de Educci?n del Ecuador se ha determinado que los estudiantes abandonan los estudios por diversas circunstancias vinculadas o no a la instituci?n. El trabajo investigativo se centra en determinar las buenas pr?cticas educativas que se han implementado en las instituciones educativas p?blicas para el ingreso, permanencia y culminaci?n de los estudios en la oferta educativa intensiva para J?venes y Adultos. La investigaci?n es de tipo cualitativa con enfoque investigaci?n-acci?n, se recopil? informaci?n por medio de entrevistas a expertos, docentes y estudiantes de la oferta educativa de instituciones educativas p?bicas de la ciudad de Cuenca. Las respuestas a las entrevistas se analizaron desde los diferentes actores de la modalidad para proponer acciones concretas para promover la educaci?n intensiva.
In Ecuador, the percentage of students with incomplete basic education is significant; therefore, it causes social, cultural, and economic problems. The national government, in line with international organizations and educational programs aimed at adults with unfinished schooling, have created different educational programs that began as individual projects and, over time, have evolved to the implementation of the intensive educational offer or also known as Education for Youth and Adults. The purpose of the educational program is that students over 15 years of age and with an educational lag of two years can complete their Higher Basic or Baccalaureate studies. According to reports from the Ministry of Education of Ecuador, it has been determined that students abandon their studies due to various circumstances linked or not to the institution. The research work focuses on determining the good educational practices that have been implemented in public educational institutions for admission, permanence and completion of studies in the intensive educational offer for Youth and Adults. The research is qualitative with an action-research approach, information was collected through interviews with experts, teachers and students of the educational public institutions in the city of Cuenca. Lastly, the answers to the interviews were analyzed from the different actors of the modality to propose concrete actions to promote intensive education.
