Conocimiento sobre los derechos de los pacientes en usarios que acuden al primer nivel de atención del centro de salud del cantón el Tambo, mayo-septiembre 2018

Los derechos de los pacientes, son cada una de las retribuciones con las que cuenta una persona cuando es atendida en cualquier establecimiento de salud, sin exclusión alguna. El objetivo del proyecto es evaluar el nivel de conocimiento sobre los derechos del paciente en los usuarios que acuden al Centro de Salud del cantón El Tambo, en el primer nivel de atención. Metodología: Un estudio cuantitativo, descriptivo transversal, con una muestra de 140 pacientes, de un universo de 295 usuarios. Se aplicó una encuesta estructurada validada, cuyos resultados se registraron en el sistema SPSS V.21. Resultados: El 41% de pacientes tienen una edad entre 51 años o más, el 54% corresponde al sexo femenino. Un 92% de los pacientes indican haber visitado más de una vez el centro de salud, el 48% acuden a consulta médica y un 25% para atención de enfermería, referente al nivel de conocimiento; el 84% evidenciaron un notable desconocimiento sobre la Ley de Derechos y Amparo del Paciente; el 66% de la población desconocen sobre el derecho que tienen para ser atendidos oportunamente de una manera digna; el 68% afirmaron no tener conocimiento sobre el derecho a no ser discriminado; así mismo se evidenció que el 74% también desconoce sobre el derecho a recibir información sobre el diagnóstico, pronóstico y tratamiento de su estado de salud. Conclusiones: La mayoría de los usuarios que acuden al Centro de Salud, señalaron desconocer sobre la Ley de Derechos y Amparo al Paciente.
The rights of the patients, are each of the rewards with which a person counts when it is attended in any health establishment, without any exclusion. The objective of the project is to assess the level of knowledge about the rights of the patient in the users who come to the Health Center of the canton El Tambo, in the first level of care. Methodology: A quantitative, descriptive cross-sectional study, with a sample of 140 patients, from a universe of 295 users. A validated structured survey was applied, the results of which were recorded in the SPSS V.21 system. Results: 41% of patients are between 51 years of age or older, 54% are female. 92% of patients reported having visited the health center more than once, 48% went to medical consultation and 25% to nursing care, regarding the level of knowledge; 84% evidenced a notable ignorance about the Law of Rights and Protection of the Patient; 66% of the population are unaware of the right they have to be treated in a timely manner in a dignified manner; 68% claimed not to have knowledge about the right not to be discriminated against; Likewise, it was evidenced that 74% also do not know about the right to receive information about the diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of their state of health. Conclusions: The majority of the users who visit the Health Center, indicated that they do not know about the Law of Rights and Protection of the Patient.
