Diseño de la planta de tratamiento de agua potable del proyecto regional Tigsay, provincia del Cañar

Las localidades de Tutifrutti, Asociación Agrícola 4 de Julio, y San José, pertenecientes al cantón La Troncal, provincia del Cañar; no disponen de un sistema de agua potable que satisfaga las demandas que requieren sus habitantes. En cambio, la localidad de Zhucay, perteneciente al cantón Cañar, provincia del Cañar, ya cuenta con un pequeño sistema de agua potable, que funciona de manera limitada y presenta varios problemas en cuanto a su operación. Por esta razón, y gracias a la colaboración de los dirigentes de cada una de estas localidades, a través del convenio interinstitucional con la empresa ELECAUSTRO S.A. y la universidad ucacue, se realizan los estudios para realizar la planta de tratamiento de agua potable para estos cuatro sectores. Para este trabajo se obtuvo información cartográfica, se realizó visitas y encuestas socioeconómicas para analizar las posibles soluciones y determinar un diseño óptimo. Este diseño se basa en la tecnología Convencional simplificada, debido a que las características de la cuenca hidrográfica lo permiten; lo que conlleva a estructurar una junta de agua potable que se encargue de administrar el sistema de forma íntegra para el buen servicio hacia todos sus habitantes.

For this reason, and thanks to the collaboration of the leaders of each of these locations, through the interagency agreement with the company Elecaustro S.A. ucacue and university all studies are conducted for the processing plant of drinking water for the four sectors concerned. For this work there was obtained cartographic information, views and socioeconomic surveys to analyze possible solutions and determine an optimal design. This design is based on the simplified conventional technology, due to the characteristics of the watershed permit; which leads to structuring a water board that is responsible for managing the system in an entire way for the satisfactory servicing to all its inhabitants.
