El Trabajo de Investigación desarrollado a continuación consiste en el rediseño del sistema de agua potable que brindará el servicio a 65 familias que viven en la comunidad de Don Julo.\n\n Para el rediseño se realizaron cálculos hidráulicos, proyectados a 20 años esta-bleciéndose como parámetros el número de habitantes a los cuales se prestará el servicio, actualmente la comunidad cuenta con 228 habitantes y en la vida útil del sistema se tendrá una población final de 277 habitantes. \n\n Se determinó el caudal necesario que requiere la comunidad y de esta manera poder satisfacer las necesidades domésticas en esta población.\n \n Establecido el caudal necesario y la proyección, se estudió la distribución de la tubería con el fin de determinar las presiones adecuadas que satisfagan la demanda requerida por sus habitantes, para lo cual se utilizó el programa CIVILCAD y se comprobó con los métodos manuales correspondientes.\n\n Para el desarrollo del rediseño del sistema de agua potable se utilizó la NORMA CO 10.7-602 (SISTEMAS DE ABASTECIMIENTO DE AGUA POTABLE, DISPOSI-CIÓN DE EXCRETAS Y RESIDUOS LIQUIDOS EN EL ÁREA RURAL)
The research work developed then is to redesign the system to provide potable water service to 65 households in the community of Don Julo.\n\n Redesign for hydraulic calculations were projected to 20 years, establishing itself as parameters the number of inhabitants to which the service is provided, now the community has 228 inhabitants and the life of the system a final population of 277 inhabitants will. \n\n Necessary flow required community was determined and thus able to satisfy the domestic needs in this population.\n\n Established necessary projection flow and the distribution of the pipe was studied in order to determine the appropriate pressure required to meet the demand for its inhabitants, for which the program was used CivilCAD, and he/she was proven with the corresponding manual methods.\n\n To develop the water system redesign drinking was used STANDARD CO 10.7-602 (SYSTEMS WATER SUPPLY, AND WASTE DISPOSAL EXCRETA LIQUIDS IN RURAL AREA)
