El presente trabajo aborda el tema de la gestión de procesos dentro del Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Intercultural y Pluricultural del Municipio de Cayambe. La finalidad es desarrollar un análisis de los procesos para mejorar las actividades que se desarrollan dentro de la Dirección Financiera para un mejor funcionamiento de la misma y de esta manera suplir las necesidades de los clientes internos y externos. Para la elaboración de este documento se utilizó diferentes métodos, técnicas e instrumentos. Se consideró los fundamentos de la investigación cualitativa y cuantitativa, siguiendo el tipo de investigación descriptiva con las modalidades de campo y bibliográfica – documental. Las principales técnicas aplicadas fueron la entrevista y la encuesta, las cuales permitieron tener una visión global y cercana de la realidad del GADIP Municipal. La investigación ayudó a conocer que pese a que la institución ha desarrollado mecanismos para esclarecer las funciones de cada uno de sus trabajadores dentro de la Dirección Financiera, no existe una adecuada definición de actividades, por lo que es importante aplicar los principios de la gestión de procesos para brindar servicios de calidad que contribuyan al cumplimiento de los objetivos organizacionales.
This paper addresses the issue of process management within the Autonomous Decentralized Intercultural and Pluricultural Autonomous Government of the Municipality of Cayambe. The purpose is to develop an analysis of the processes to improve the activities that are developed within the Financial Management for a better functioning of the same and thus meet the needs of internal and external customers. Different methods, techniques and instruments were used for the elaboration of this document. The foundations of qualitative and quantitative research were considered, following the type of descriptive research with field and bibliographic – documentary modalities. The main techniques applied were the interview and the survey, which allowed having a global and close view of the reality of the Municipal GADIP. The research helped to know that although the institution has developed mechanisms to clarify the functions of each of its employees within the Financial Department, there is no adequate definition of activities, so it is important to apply the principles of management of Processes to provide quality services that contribute to the fulfillment of organizational objectives.
