El presente trabajo de titulación tuvo como objetivo analizar la relevancia de la función del docente de Educación General Básica Elemental en el acompañamiento a estudiantes víctimas de abuso sexual. La violencia sexual en la infancia se ha convertido en una terrible realidad en nuestro país con estadísticas en números rojos. Desde el Ministerio de Educación se han realizado protocolos y estrategias de prevención y acción ante dichas situaciones, pero que, en general son desconocidas para el docente. Para plantear dicha problemática se propuso el análisis de la violencia sexual y sus repercusiones sintomáticas en los estudiantes. Además, se hizo un recorrido por los diferentes lineamientos de acción y cómo el docente se lo ubica como parte fundamental de este proceso de acompañamiento junto con los miembros del Dece. El enfoque metodológico que se usó fue el cualitativo con un alcance de estudio descriptivo. La técnica que se usó fue entrevistas semiestructuradas a diferentes docentes de Educación General Básica Elemental de una institución educativa particular. Entre los resultados, se destaca como los docentes sienten muchas limitaciones debido a su falta de competencias y/o recursos a la hora de abordar esta problemática llegando al punto de, sentir que es un tema ajeno a ellos.
The objective of this degree work was to analyze the relevance of teachers when it comes to accompanying students who are victims of sexual violence. Sexual violence against children has become a terrible reality in our country with statistics in the red. From the Ministry of Education, protocols and prevention and action strategies have been carried out in these situations, but which, in general, are unknown to the teacher. To raise the problem, the analysis of sexual violence and its symptomatic repercussions on students was proposed. In addition, a tour was made of the different action guidelines and how the teacher places it as a fundamental part of this process with the members of the Dece. The methodological approach used was qualitative with a descriptive study scope. The technique used was interviews with different teachers from some of the city's educational institutions. Among the results, it stands out how teachers feel many limitations due to their lack of skills and/or resources when dealing with this problem, reaching the point of feeling that it is a foreign issue to them.
