Uso de la terapia familiar sistémica en parejas con conflictos matrimoniales y niños con problemas de atención: un estudio de caso

This study describes the evaluation and treatment using family therapy of twelve session duration a case of a couple with marital problems and their daughter with attention problems. The treatment is carried on by request of the father that their daughter be treated and his wife accompanies him. The objective of treatment was established during the first session with all the therapeutic goals that were pursuit. The child’s parents assist a psicoeducational workshop on how to educate children at home. Different evaluation methods were used to appraise the family and couple functionality; these were administered and observed at the beginning and termination to assess the impact of family therapy. The evaluation results prove a well-being of the couple and the family as a whole and an interruption of the attention problem of their daughter.
Este estudio describe la evaluación y el tratamiento mediante terapia familiar con una duración de doce sesiones un caso de pareja con problemas maritales y su hija con problema de atención. Se efectúa este tratamiento por pedido del padre de que atiendan a su hija y acompaña su esposa. El objetivo de este tratamiento fue establecido en la primera sesión con las metas terapéuticas que se quisieron alcanzar. La terapia familiar incluyó tres sesiones individuales con la pareja que se probaron efectivas para tratar este caso. Los padres también asisten a un taller psicoeducativo sobre como impartir educación en el hogar. Distintos métodos de evaluación fueron utilizados para conocer el funcionamiento familiar y marital, estas fueron administradas y observadas al inicio y al final la terapia para conocer el impacto de la misma. Los resultados de las evaluaciones demuestran una mejoría de la pareja y de la familia en conjunto y una interrupción en el problema de atención de la hija.
