El presente art?culo reflexiona sobre el papel que desempe?a el docente en la educaci?n a distancia de los escolares durante la pandemia de covid-19. La investigaci?n es de enfoque cualitativo y se desarroll? bajo el paradigma interpretativo que encausa el m?todo fenomenol?gico. Se cont? con la participaci?n de tres docentes que son informantes clave y laboran en dos instituciones educativas pertenecientes al municipio de Porto-Piau?, Brasil. Como t?cnica se emple? la entrevista a profundidad. Los hallazgos demuestran cu?les fueron los pros y contras de este tipo de educaci?n, as? como, la forma en la que se fortalecieron las pr?cticas pedag?gicas ante las dificultades vividas por padres, estudiantes, docentes y el grupo de gesti?n educativo, ante una educaci?n a distancia ocasionada por la pandemia.
The present article reflects on the role of the teacher in the distance education of schoolchildren during the covid-19 pandemic. The research is qualitative approach, and it was developed under the interpretative paradigm, channeled in the phenomenological method. It was developed with three teachers working in two educational institutions belonging to the municipality of Porto-Piau?, Brazil, they represented the key informants. The in-depth interview was used as a technique. The findings show the pros and cons of this type of education, as well as the stren- gthening of pedagogical practices in the face of the difficulties of parents, students, teachers and educational management group, in the face of distance education due to the pandemic.
