Sobre rosas y reguet?n. La necesidad de fomentar el pensamiento cr?tico en las aulas universitarias

Description: El autor del art?culo expone una serie de reflexiones sobre la necesidad de fomentar el pensamiento cr?tico en los/as estudiantes de la UNAE, con objeto de que puedan detectar algunos de los micromachismos existentes en la sociedad actual y adoptar una postura personal ante la violencia de g?nero simb?lica que se esconde tras los mismos. Para ello, se toman dos elementos sustanciales que gu?an el relato: el primero es el origen hist?rico de la costumbre de regalar rosas a las mujeres el d?a 8 de marzo; el segundo, la descripci?n de una actividad desarrollada en la asignatura ?Ense?anza y Aprendizaje del Medio Social II?, consistente en analizar la letra de una canci?n de reguet?n y reflexionar sobre ella.
The author of the paper presents some reflections about the need to promote the critical thinking in UNAE students, so that they can perceive some micromachisms which exist in the actual society and assume a personal attitude in the face of the symbolic gender violence that hides behind them. For this, two key elements that guide the report are taken: the first is the historical origin of the custom of giving roses to women on March 8. The second, the description of an activity developed in the subject ?Teaching and Learning of Social Environment II?, consisting of analyzing the lyrics of a reggaeton song and reflecting on it.
