El presente proyecto de investigaci?n se denomina ?Representaciones sobre g?nero en el libro de texto de Lengua y Literatura del noveno grado de EGB: aproximaci?n desde un an?lisis cr?tico del discurso? el cual est? enmarcado en la ciudad de Cuenca. El principal objetivo es conocer la influencia de los contenidos del libro de texto de la asignatura de Lengua y Literatura en la construcci?n de g?nero de los estudiantes de noveno grado de la instituci?n educativa mencionada. En cuanto a la fundamentaci?n te?rica del proyecto, se sostiene en tres ejes principales: perspectiva de g?nero, discursos de g?nero y educaci?n, haciendo referencia al contexto escolar. Para dar respuesta al objetivo anteriormente planteado, partimos de un enfoque cualitativo, apoyado en las t?cnicas del an?lisis cr?tico de discurso y una aproximaci?n a la etnograf?a. Los resultados obtenidos nos permitieron identificar los discursos y las representaciones de g?nero que se manejan en el libro de texto y en el contexto ?ulico del noveno grado de EGB. Lo resultados arrojados nos permitieron identificar que los estudiantes poseen una postura cr?tica frente a estereotipos presentes en el contenido del libro de texto y en su contexto educativo diario. Por otra parte, respecto al libro de texto, identificamos que en el dise?o de este no tiene en consideraci?n el uso de un lenguaje neutro, debido a que descubrimos t?rminos androc?ntricos en la narrativa de las actividades, lecturas y dem?s contenido ling??stico. As? mismo, evidenciamos una invisibilizaci?n de la figura de la mujer en contenidos como poes?a, mitolog?a, sucesos hist?ricos, entre otros. Sin embargo, a pesar de esta postura en gran parte de los estudiantes, evidenciamos que existen en menor cantidad comentarios que denotan prejuicios, roles y estereotipos sobre un g?nero. Y, por otra parte, se suma la escasa implementaci?n de contenidos que fomenten la inclusi?n y el respeto por otras identidades de g?nero.
This research project is called "Representations on gender in the textbook of Language and Literature of the ninth grade of EGB: approach from a critical analysis of discourse" is framed in the city of Cuenca. The main objective of this research is to know the influence of the contents of the textbook of the subject of Language and Literature in the construction of gender of the ninth grade students of the aforementioned educational institution. Regarding the theoretical foundation of the project, it is based on three main axes: gender perspective, gender discourses and education, referring to the school context. To respond to the aforementioned objective, we start from a qualitative approach, supported by the techniques of critical discourse analysis and an approach to ethnography. The results obtained allowed us to identify the discourses and gender representations that are handled in the textbook and in the classroom context of the ninth grade of EGB. The results obtained allowed us to identify that students have a critical stance against stereotypes present in the content of the textbook and in their daily educational context. On the other hand, regarding the textbook, we identified that in its design the use of a neutral language was not taken into consideration, because we discovered androcentric terms in the narrative of the activities, readings and other linguistic content. Likewise, we evidence an invisibility of the figure of women in contents such as poetry, mythology, historical events, among others. However, despite this position in a large part of the students, we show that there are fewer comments that denote prejudices, roles and stereotypes about a gender. And, on the other hand, there is also the scarce implementation of content that promotes inclusion and respect for other gender identities.
