El presente trabajo de titulaci?n parte de una problem?tica estudiada durante las pr?cticas preprofesionales desarrolladas en la Unidad Educativa COREL, en las que se evidenci? el desarrollo pensamiento l?gico matem?tico. Desde esta problem?tica, se plantea contribuir al desarrollo del pensamiento l?gico matem?tico de los estudiantes de cuarto a?o de EGB de la Unidad Educativa COREL de la ciudad de Cuenca, mediante la implementaci?n del juego como una estrategia de aprendizaje durante el desarrollo de la multiplicaci?n. Para ello, se realiz? el diagn?stico del estado de desarrollo de las habilidades del pensamiento l?gico matem?tico. Se dise?? e implement? seis sesiones de clases basadas en actividades de juego como estrategia de aprendizaje de la multiplicaci?n, para finalmente evaluar los resultados obtenidos despu?s de la implementaci?n de la propuesta. La metodolog?a empleada fue la investigaci?n-acci?n, con un paradigma socio cr?tico y enfoque cualitativo. En la recolecci?n de informaci?n se emplearon t?cnicas cualitativas como la entrevista y la observaci?n participante utilizando la gu?a de observaci?n y la entrevista; completadas con t?cnicas cuantitativas como las pruebas de rendimiento y la encuesta. Este estudio cont? con la participaci?n de todos los 18 estudiantes del aula y la docente tutora. De los resultados obtenidos antes y despu?s de la aplicaci?n de la propuesta, mediante la prueba diagn?stica y prueba final se pudo evidenciar que la utilizaci?n del juego como estrategia de ense?anza aport? al desarrollo del pensamiento l?gico matem?tico de los estudiantes de cuarto EGB. El juego permiti? a los estudiantes resolver ejercicios de razonamiento, paralelamente favoreci? el desarrollo del pensamiento l?gico matem?tico y alcanzar las destrezas con criterio de desempe?o planteadas en el curr?culo obligatorio para la multiplicaci?n.
The present degree work is based on a problem studied during the pre-professional practices developed in the COREL Educational Unit, in which the development of mathematical logical thinking was evidenced. From this problem, it is proposed to contribute to the development of the mathematical logical thinking of the fourth year EGB students of the COREL Educational Unit of the city of Cuenca, through the implementation of the game as a learning strategy during the development of multiplication. For this, the diagnosis of the state of development of mathematical logical thinking skills was carried out. Six class sessions based on game activities were designed and implemented as a multiplication learning strategy, to finally evaluate the results obtained after the implementation of the proposal. The methodology used was action research, with a socio-critical paradigm and a qualitative approach. Qualitative techniques such as interview and participant observation using the observation guide and the interview were used in the collection of information; completed with quantitative techniques such as performance tests and surveys. This study included the participation of all 18 students in the classroom and the tutor teacher. From the results obtained before and after the application of the proposal, through the diagnostic test and the final test, it was possible to show that the use of the game as a teaching strategy contributed to the development of the mathematical logical thinking of the fourth EGB students. The game allowed students to solve reasoning exercises, at the same time it favored the development of mathematical logical thinking and achieving skills with performance criteria set out in the compulsory curriculum for multiplication.
