This thesis sought generates a judicial unit in the Metropolitan District of Quito. The project must respond in its formal structure to the conditions of life, the site and the technical. The architecture you will find your correspondence with the form and their determinants, always maintaining unity both in its result as in the process. Through the typological approach an architectural project is seeking to reach out to the understanding of the existing needs and responds effectively to the constraints. In the case of a judicial complex, the subject matter is the justice, a topic that has been controversial and that has evolved over the years. It is important to take into account the transformation that has suffered the justice, both in its subject, and with regard to its implementation. The interest of this work has been reflect this transformation through the architectural project, showing in this way, a judicial unit that responds to the new notion of the current justice, while respecting and adapting to the peculiarities that involve the justice in our times, the response to the changes and adaptations that suffers from our city and in whole generate a architectural answer to the needs that are presented. That is why from a series of analyzes are shown below, give as a result certain guidelines that routed the ideas toward a proposal that represents a architectural answer. It is important to bear in mind that this architectural answer starts with an integrated approach to the environment and even with an analysis and restructuring of the city and continues with the architectural object that corresponds to this evolution of justice and the city and its inhabitants. In this way it seeks to generate a project that engages the new ideal of justice, which respond to the determinants of place and technical, without losing the notion of unity and coherence. Taking into account that the architectural way must tend to the unit. With regard to these issues, the typological thinking allows us to provide an architecture that provides an adequate response from the general ideas and permanent in the architectural way, until the contingencies of each particular project.
Esta tesis buscó generar una unidad judicial en el Distrito Metropolitano de Quito. El proyecto debe responder en su estructura formal a las condicionantes de la vida, el sitio y la técnica. La arquitectura encontrará su correspondencia con la forma y sus condicionantes, siempre manteniendo unidad tanto en su resultado como en su proceso. A través de la aproximación tipológica al proyecto arquitectónico se busca llegar al entendimiento de las necesidades existentes y se responde de manera eficaz a las condicionantes. Al tratarse de un complejo judicial, el tema a tratar es la justicia, tema que ha sido controvertido y que ha evolucionado a lo largo de los años. Es importante tener en cuenta la trasformación que ha sufrido la justicia, tanto en su tema, como respecto a su ejecución. El interés de este trabajo ha sido reflejar esta transformación a través del proyecto arquitectónico, mostrando de esta manera, una unidad judicial que responde a la nueva noción de la justicia actual, respetando y adaptándose a las particularidades que implican la justicia en nuestros tiempos, la respuesta a las adaptaciones y cambios que sufre nuestra ciudad y en conjunto generar una respuesta arquitectónica a las necesidades que se presentan. Es por esto que a partir de una serie de análisis que se muestran a continuación, dan como resultado ciertas directrices que encaminan las ideas hacia una propuesta que representa una respuesta arquitectónica. Es importante tener en cuenta que esta respuesta arquitectónica inicia con un planteamiento del entorno e incluso con un análisis y reestructuración de la ciudad y prosigue con el objeto arquitectónico que corresponde a esta evolución de la justicia y de la cuidad y sus habitantes. De esta manera se busca generar un proyecto que se acople al nuevo ideal de justicia, que responda a las determinantes del sitio, lugar y técnica, sin perder la noción de unidad y coherencia. Teniendo en cuenta que la forma arquitectónica debe tender a la unidad. Con respecto a estos temas, el pensamiento tipológico nos permite proporcionar una arquitectura que ofrezca una respuesta adecuada desde las ideas generales y permanentes de la forma arquitectónica, hasta las contingencias de cada proyecto en particular.
