El presente trabajo tiene por finalidad fomentar la lectura mediante obras fant?sticas como son las leyendas y los mitos para promover y fortalecer las competencias de lectoescritura. Por esta raz?n, se elabora una unidad did?ctica, que permita una ense?anza-aprendizaje de calidad mediante una serie de actividades de inter?s para los estudiantes resultando de provecho para optimizar las habilidades lectoras, la lectura se evidencia en el progreso de los educandos para el desarrollo del pensamiento permitiendo el an?lisis, la cr?tica, la reflexi?n, etc. Seguidamente se presenta los talleres y actividades de evaluaci?n. El TFM expone la importancia de la motivaci?n que se debe ofrecer a la lectura como base importante del aprendizaje, por esta raz?n los maestros deben estar al tanto de los intereses y las expectativas de los escolares para lograr la inclinaci?n y el disfrute de los textos en el quehacer educativo.
The purpose of this work is to promote reading through fantastic works such as legends and myths to promote and strengthen literacy skills. For this reason, a didactic unit is created, which allows a quality teaching-learning through a series of activities of interest for the students resulting in the optimization of the reading skills, the reading is evident in the progress of the students for the development of thought allowing analysis, criticism, reflection, etc. Then the workshops and evaluation activities are presented. The TFM exposes the importance of the motivation that should be offered to reading as an important basis of learning, for this reason teachers should be aware of the interests and expectations of schoolchildren to achieve the inclination and enjoyment of texts in the educational task.
